Speaking dog

A guy knocks on the door. The dog gets up in two paws and says:
- The master’s not home.
The guy faints when he hears the dog speak. When he gets conscious, he asks the dog:
- Wheel, if you are a dog, why don’t you bark?
- I thought I would scare you!
